My pick of artists from this years Glastonbury lineup to add to your radar.

This year’s lineup contains some amazing artists taking to the Pyramid Stage: LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka, and Coldplay to name a few. As well as the headliners, there are plenty of other incredible and lesser-known artists that are taking the various stages around the farm.

- NONAME
My first recommendation is Chicago rapper, poet and producer: Noname. If you’re a fan of captivating lyricism, soulful melodies and chill hip-hop neo-soul vibes, then I would highly recommend checking her music out. Some standout tunes include ‘Diddy Bop’ and ‘no name’.
2. JORDAN RAKEI
Next is the New Zealand-Australian singer / songwriter, Jordan Rakei. It is east to get lost in the mesmerising distinctive soul of his voice and the harmony in the melodies, with some standout songs are ‘Midnight Mischief’, ‘Rolling into One’, and ‘Nerve’. This is definitely someone to add to your rotation.

3. NEWDAD
Number three is the Irish Indie-Rock band, NewDad. Often compared to with artists such as The Cure, this band is one to watch for fans of melancholy and alternative genres. Their echoing melodies, grungy distorted guitar tones, and punchy drums are a perfect foundation for lead singer Julie Dawson’s spacey mysterious vocals. Some standout songs include ‘Blue’, ‘I Don’t Recognise You’ and ‘Change My Mind’.
4. BONOBO
My next recommendation is producer and DJ, Bonobo. His music perfectly blends big sounds and world-influenced beats with vibrant and melodic instrumentals, creating a unique and euphoric experience. Fans of Air, Zero 7 and Moby will appreciate this one. Some of my personal favourite tracks are ‘Rosewood’, ‘Nightlite’, and ‘Stay The Same’.

5. OLIVIA DEAN
My last recommendation is someone I can’t recommend enough lately, English neo-soul singer Olivia Dean. Her light and jazzy voice carries the soul of the lyrics and genre, with a tone reminiscent of Amy Winehouse. Some standout songs of hers are ‘Dive’, ‘Password Change’, and of course, ‘Dangerously Easy’.
The mixture of artists on this-years Glastonbury lineup offers something for everyone, and a chance to discover some hidden gems. With this in mind, you can develop your playlists and add that extra spice that it might have been missing.
